Dr. Patrice Barnes-Tracey earned both her Master’s degree and Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Social Service at Fordham University. She brings a depth of knowledge and compassion to her work, with a strong commitment to supporting children, individuals, and families navigating complex life challenges.
With extensive experience in child welfare and mental health, Dr. Barnes-Tracey has worked across direct service, clinical practice, leadership, and higher education settings throughout Connecticut and New York. Her work has focused on helping those impacted by trauma, systemic inequities, and emotional distress to find healing and stability.
Dr. Barnes-Tracey’s clinical approach is grounded in trauma-informed care and integrates mindfulness-based and evidence-informed practices. She strives to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment where clients can build resilience, strengthen emotional regulation, and move toward meaningful change.
